Single Malt Scottish Whisky from the Imperial Distillery
This page refers to Scottish Single Malts from the Imperial Distillery. Imperial Distillery was founded in the town of Carron by Thomas Mackenzie in 1897 and named after Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. The distillery has had a hard time, closing several times for long periods. Like a lot of distilleries, it primary reason for producing whisky was for blends, and the Imperial brands were used in the likes of Teacher's, Old Smuggler, Long John and Ballantine's blends. For more details about this distillery, please visit the Imperial Distilleryon this website with the letter I.
