Single Malt Scottish Whisky from the Coleburn Distillery

This page refers to Scottish Single Malts from the Coleburn Distillery. Coleburn Distillery started to distilled whisky in the early 1900’s after it was founded in 1897. It has been owned by several companies after it was sold by the founder James Robertson & Son. When Coleburn closed its doors in 1985 it was owned by Diageo. Throughout the years of production most of the whisky it distilled went into blends like Usher’s, J & G Stewart’s and Johnnie Walker Red Label. It was only after the distillery closed was official bottled malts released within the rare malt series. There are a number of independent bottles of malts release during the same period, but not all have come onto the market place as great sellers.
