Below there is an excellent selection of American Rye Whisky products like the Jim Beam Rye and Hirsch Selection 1983. Jim Beam is one of the most famous whisky brands in the U.S. and of course, the worldwide whisky market. Another one of the most recognized brands has to be Thomas H Handy Releases, and there are a number of these rye bourbons. Each release is different in strength and has different characters to each other them.
The great thing about rye whisky is that several distilleries produce this kind of whisky ranging from the famous distilleries at Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam and Heaven Hill to the least famous distillery at High West Distillery.

Tomintoul Distillery Tour
Planet Whiskies had a fantastic trip up to the Speyside Whisky region of Scotland in February 2024 to visit Angus Dundee Distillers Tomintoul Distillery within the Cairngorms National Park. Then, after the distillery tour and tasting, which was hosted by Iain Forteath, the master blender of Tomintoul, our press group travelled and stayed the night at the recently bought country home of Tomintoul House in the Aultmore Estate (previously called Aultmore House).
