When you start looking at whisky at the prices below you tend to think "Is this a collectors' items or one for use at a special time?" The answer to that question is one that only you can answer.
Unopened you could find these bottles going up in value, but it all depends on how rare the whisky is, does the distillery still produce whisky and still open, but the answer to most is all about supply and demand and very hard to tell.

The Singleton of Glen Ord 40 Year Old began its life as the wonderful Singleton 12 Year Old, only then it was transferred to a combination of rum, bourbon, Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks for almost three decades.
