Harrods & Gordon Ramsay Unveil Anticipated Menu for Shanghai Restaurant: Residence Private Members Club Reveals More Details

19th October 2023, Shanghai: Harrods, the world's leading luxury department store, has today unveiled an exceptional menu for its collaboration in Shanghai with Gordon Ramsay which will be found at The Residence, Harrods' first private members club globally, located in HKRI Taikoo Hui Cha House.

The 'Gordon Ramsay at The Residence Shanghai' menu incorporates local flavours and ingredients while staying true to Gordon Ramsay's approach to creating modern interpretations of British classics. Highly anticipated dishes will include lobster and salmon ravioli, a heritage tomato tart, turbot with a champagne caviar sauce, wagyu Rossini with foie gras, and Gordon's take on the quintessentially British fish and chips.

In addition, the club has revealed more of the unique beverage experiences that will be available to its members with The Residence as the very first official partner in China to serve LOUIS XIII Rare Cask 42.1, one of LOUIS XIII's most treasured and sought-after limited editions, by the glass and the only place in Asia to offer an accompanying exclusive menu pairing experience by Gordon Ramsay. LOUIS XIII Rare Cask 42.1, as a true wonder of time and nature, offers the ultimate expression of LOUIS XIII and will perfectly match in this common quest for the extraordinary.

Harrods has also revealed that The Residence will host the first permanent The Macallan room in China and is the only place in Mainland China with the highly prized and extremely rare Decades Dalmore no.4 collection available to purchase. Offering members access to exclusive bottles to both enjoy at the club and collect, the club aims to be the premier destination for luxury spirit connoisseurs in Shanghai. Whether buying to drink, collect or invest, the rare and exclusive liquids selection at the club covers every palate and purpose, with whiskies especially chosen to span decades and dating back to 1960, offering members access to a curated collection of fine and rare spirits.

Members will also have the opportunity to experience a specially curated wine selection by the world's first Chinese Master Sommelier, LV Yang, as well as Ace of Spades Armand de Brignac La Collection Champagne and a cocktail menu meticulously prepared by Harrods world acclaimed London mixology team.
