This is the third addition to The Whisky Barrel's range of exclusive bottlings commemorating the 10th anniversary of the retailer established in 2007 and which is now renowned as one of the world's leading whisky and spirits merchants.
Distilled at Laphroaig Distillery on Islay, and bottled August 2017 by The Creative Whisky Co., TheWhiskyBarrel.com selected a 6 Year Old 2011 vintage sherry hogshead cask number #195 yielding 337 individually hand numbered bottles at natural cask strength.
The Laphroaig Distillery is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky distillery on the south coast of the Isle of Islay, Scotland. The distillery was established by Donald and Alexander Johnston in 1815 and produces the only whisky to carry the Royal Warrant of the Prince of Wales which he awarded in person during a visit in 1994.
Laphroaig is well loved by many thanks to its distinctive peaty flavour and offers something unique and very special to those who appreciate it, making The Whisky Barrel's exclusive Laphroaig 6 Year Old 2011 perfect for the connoisseur or collector.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep rusty gold.
Nose: Scrumptious combination of peat and sherry notes.
Taste: On the palate, it has a soft mouth-feel with the sweet taste from the sherry casks coming through. This gently melts away leaving behind that famous and satisfying peaty note infused with a subtle hint of seaweed.
Finish: The finish is long lasting, warming and slightly fruity, with strong hints of that famous peat.
