We offer quality, comfort and character in the former home of John Smith, founder of Cragganmore distillery. Gourmet food is provided in a dining room overlooking the River Spey.

Directions From Edinburgh & Glasgow, follow A9 north through Perth as far as Aviemore. Turn on to A95 for 24 miles to the turning on the left, B9137 for Cragganmore.
From Inverness (travel east) or Aberdeen (travel west), follow A96 to Elgin.
Turn south on A941 to Craigellachie, follow A95 to Aberlour, past Ballindalloch Castle, over Bridge of Avon, and turn right, B9137, to Cragganmore.
The driveway to the house is 1 mile on the left, just before you come to the Cragganmore Distillery.
There are six distileries that are local to Cragganmore House and they are Cragganmore Distillery, Glenfarclas Distillery, Macallan Distillery, The Glenlivet Distillery, Glenfiddich Distillery, Glen Grant Distillery, Aberlour Distillery and Cardhu Distillery

Tomintoul Distillery Tour
Planet Whiskies had a fantastic trip up to the Speyside Whisky region of Scotland in February 2024 to visit Angus Dundee Distillers Tomintoul Distillery within the Cairngorms National Park. Then, after the distillery tour and tasting, which was hosted by Iain Forteath, the master blender of Tomintoul, our press group travelled and stayed the night at the recently bought country home of Tomintoul House in the Aultmore Estate (previously called Aultmore House).
